Raising Your Acoustic Energy

Think of the sounds and vibrations all around you. This really made me think of the sounds we are constantly listening to. These sounds can be tv, podcasts, music, dishwasher, washer and dryer or any type of mechanical noise that we, quite honestly, don't outwardly pay attention to. How does this make you feel? You may feel a subtle annoyance or slightly uncomfortable when hearing a particular sound.

Now think of the natural sounds. The birds, a slight breeze blowing, rain, or even walking on crunchy leaves. This probably makes you feel a bit more connected, relaxed, or even joyful.

Your acoustic resonance is a very important part of your personal energy field. The sounds around you become meshed or entangled in the vibrations that you send out into the world each and every day.

What would happen if you started to spend a little more time each day in silence? What if you enhanced that silence by combining that with the sounds of nature? I can tell you from personal experience that I feel more peaceful, more centered, more focused, and more connected with the divine.

Meditate. Breathe. Let your mind and your life become quiet. When you do this, it projects a tranquil and relaxed personal energy. This is so helpful in this loud and overly stimulating world. 

Here are some little tips to enhance your acoustic energy:

Each day you can choose to spend some peaceful time in silence. You’ll notice that you’ll start to be comfortable in the quite that surrounds you.

You can speak in clear and confident tones. This can help you express yourself and ask for what you want in a way that you’ll be heard.

Listen to and notice the joyful sounds in your life. For me, it’s my cat purring, dogs snoring, and subtle sounds of the wind chimes outside my bedroom window.

Activities to increase your acoustic energy:

  1. As you go through your day, try to create some quiet time for yourself, reducing the noise and stimulation in your environment as much as possible. Try this for a few minutes and notice how you feel.

  2. Play some music that promotes the mood you want to create - whether it’s upbeat and invigorating or tranquil and relaxing.

  3. Use prayer or song to connect your life with divine love. Let your voice ring out!
