Practicing the Art of Silence

SURRENDER TO THE  STILLNESS AND SILENCE OF MEDITATION.

For some of us, the silence in meditation can feel unnerving. We're wanting music, voices, background noises to hold our attention away from our thoughts, which can be so loud at times.

I've learned to use "anchors" to help me stay with my practice. An anchor in meditation is a single point of focus like the breath or a mantra.

Try this:

1. Set a timer for 2 minutes.

2. Count your breaths.

3. Do that again tomorrow.

4. Add a minute each day or week and find your comfort level.

5. Email me at rachel@rachelkhudson.com to let me know how it’s working for you or if you have any questions.

Meditation doesn't have to be complicated.
