Meditation Myth: We have to clear our thoughts.

One of the myths about meditation is that we have to stop our thoughts in order to successfully meditate. Please understand that

🌻Thoughts will happen in meditation.

What do you do with these thoughts?

🌻When you notice your thoughts, gently drift back to your breath.

🌻Success in meditation is sometimes just showing up and enjoying and trusting the process.

Remember: there are generally 3 things that will happen in meditation:

  1. You’ll experience moments of stillness and silence.

  2. You’ll experience thoughts.

  3. You might fall asleep.
