For the first time ever, I wasn't looking for approval

I improved my own relationship with my mom and she didn’t have to change anything.

This was new for me. I was excited, a little scared, and filled with knowing that this is what I had to do.

I had to help women in their relationships with their mothers.

I used to have my mom’s voice in my head.

I was constantly filled with anxiety, fear of disapproval, fear of judgment, fear of getting it wrong, and breaking some unknown rule.

These anxious thoughts and fears worked their way into every aspect of my adult life.

I was caught in the perfectionism - procrastination trap.

My boundaries needed a reboot.

If you’re like me, maybe you have your mom’s voice stuck in your head and you feel stuck.

Unable to move forward.

I had too many struggles to even know where to start.

I used to think that only one of us got to be happy.

What I learned with coaching is that other people don’t have to change in order for you to be happy.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

It's the hardest work I've ever done but I also think it's the work that makes me most proud.

Bonus: I let go of the constant nagging question of “What would my mom think?” Every time I made a decision.

Over the last few years of intense coaching, getting certified at The Life Coach School, I started helping women around the globe with their mother-daughter relationships, I knew I had work to do.

A theme was developing.

Similar stories were being told. I was helping these women.

I can help you, too.
